Helping Wisconsin meet workforce demands

In an effort to meet the state’s growing workforce demands, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) launched an initiative to attract and retain new millennial talent from Chicago to Wisconsin.

Research showed that compared to Chicago, Wisconsin offered a number of unique advantages: better career opportunities, more free time, a richer family life, a lower cost of living and a higher quality of housing. Through the Think-Make-Happen in Wisconsin "More You" campaign, Chicagoan millennials were encouraged to achieve their own individual definition of success in a place that embraced the life they'd always imagined for themselves.
