To address Wisconsin’s growing workforce needs, the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) launched an initiative to attract and retain millennial talent from nearby Chicago.
Research revealed that Wisconsin offered several key advantages over Chicago, including stronger career opportunities, more free time, a richer family life, lower cost of living, and better housing. Through the Think-Make-Happen in Wisconsin “More You” campaign, we encouraged Chicago millennials to redefine success on their own terms—in a place that supports the life they’ve always imagined.
